What if I need to borrow more money?
If you find yourself in the position of needing to raise more money, either because your personal circumstances have changed or the money you want to spend has increased, for example if you're buying a car and you didn't take into account the cost of tax and insurance, you'll find that the loan will usually be flexible enough to help you unless you have already extended your credit limit to the maximum.
The amount of money you can be lent is worked out by looking at your personal credit history, which is explained elsewhere in these FAQs, how much you earn, and other factors aside from just how much you want. If you need to borrow more money than the initial loan this will usually be possible if the initial loan is within the initial scope of what you can afford.
The additional sum, once it has been approved may well take the form of a second loan as opposed to an extension on the first loan - this is something that will be decided when you talk it through with an adviser.
